Afresh claim that their fresh-first supply chain platform handles the complexity in the categories for brick & mortar retailers and wholesalers. Afresh is a leader in a Fresh Operating System built specifically to help grocers increase sales, empower store teams, stock fresher food, and reduce waste. It uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to forecast data points to provide accurate item-level predictions of future demand to replenish recommendations for supply chain constraints. Since being included in the ECR Food Waste 2018 challenge, Afresh has been deployed in 3,000 stores across 40 states in the US. Their new funding will allow them to expand internationally.
