SAVRpak are obsessed with food preservation and want to eradicate food waste entirely. They have developed a unique ‘preservation pouch’ that triples the shelf life of leafy greens, berries and many other foods. Their patented patch is compostable and works by aggressively extracting moisture from the air quickly, before condensation forms on food. By stopping condensation from forming on food, SAVRpak stifles the microbial load which accelerates decay. SAVRpak have secured seed funding to develop and commercialise their technology. They are now looking for retailers to work with to pilot and scale their solution.
