Sensei is a leading European provider of autonomous stores, offering a secure and reliable AI-powered solution for retailers to build efficient operations and deliver a frictionless shopping experience without the need for customers to queue and pay at the counter. Sensei has been featured in our 2019 list and have since then launched 2 new innovative offerings including autonomous pod, a flexible, modular unit of autonomous convenience store and autonomous cabinet, which operates in the same manner as an autonomous store, customers simply tap their bank card or scan the QR code to unlock the cabinet, take the product they wish to purchase, and automatically get charged. Sensei's solutions can be implemented as a whole or in parts within the store (i.e. using autonomous cabinets or pods for certain sections).
